	“Theo's Tune” is an original composition for trombone quartet inspired by the adoption of my son, Theo. A jazz-styled lullaby in 3/4 time, the bass trombone takes the lead for most of the song. The lead trombone takes over for the bridge and sings up to high C, turning the lead back to the bass bone for the ending verse. Suitable for good high school quartets and above; bass trombone down to a low D. VIEW SAMPLE \| Price $14.00



	6 TROMBONES \| JAZZ [+ Opt. Rhythm] “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing” is a jazz arrangement of this traditional hymn for 6 trombones with optional rhythm section parts included. The song starts with a lovely double-trio chorale to establish the tune then moves into a latin 5/4 feel for the remainder of the piece. With room for improvised solos, this arrangement is great for a jazz ensemble of 6 bones. (Or 5 jazz bones and a hip tuba player!) 	5 TROMBONES “The Water is Wide” is a new arrangement for trombone quintet of this traditional English ballad (which is the same tune used for the popular hymn, “The Gift of Love”). The song is arranged in three verses: Verse one is a trombone solo to establish the melody; verse two introduces a counterpoint and harmonies; and verse three begins with a short fanfare/key transition and features an obligatto part that blends in the tune "Lord of the Dance" in the third trombone part. Trombones 1, 2 and 3 all play to an A above the staff, bass trombone (or tuba) plays down to a low C. VIEW SAMPLE \| Price $15.00

Robert Mott is an active bass trombonist living in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. He is a founding member of Mr. Jefferson's Bones, Central Virginia's Premier Trombone Ensemble, and many of his original compositions and arrangements for trombones are available through Cimarron Music Press. Robert became a member of ASCAP in 1997 after his first recordings of contemporary praise music were published.
